My version of ‘Snowball’s Seven Commandments’

1) Whatever creature that has to legs is not considered a friend but an enemy
2) Whatever creature that has four legs or has any wings is considered a friend
3) No animal shall wear any type of wardrobe covering.
4) No animal shall sleep in any type of bed with dry goods
5) No animal shall drink too much of any alcohol beverage
6) No animal shall kill other fellow animals without a justified reason
7) No animal is superior or minor to any other animal.

    Jose,
    You have developed the vocabulary used in Orwell’s original text.

    If you were to create your own political allegory, what real-life event would you write about. What metaphor would you use to turn this event into a political allegory/piece of fiction. For instance, X-Men is well known as an allegory for ‘othered’ people (ethnic minorities and those who are oppressed).
